Went to uni early in the morning (9am) *it's early for a saturday* just to do the physics project. yup, the rube goldberg thingy. We spent 5 hours measuring, cutting, and sticking the oh-so-hard cardboard. I actually cut the cardboard with a blade until my hand was all red. After that, we went to pyramid with kit yee and gang to get more tapes (we ran out of 3 tapes o_O), some nails etc after having mcdonalds. the damn atm machines all couldn't accept my card all because it's a uob card. argh! i've actually tried 6 atm machines! So, i ended up borrowing money from kit yee *sigh* Went back at around 3 to 4, and continued our work, since we got a glue gun too. Cut some more cardboard, and finally, by 6, we finished it! well, sorta finished it. we just need to do something about the rotation part, get some tiny boxes for sliding, and some golf balls for rolling and falling. Thank goodness we managed to finish it today, so next monday will be the tryout. whee!
Once it's up and (hopefully) running, i'll be snapping a picture of our 'masterpiece'. Probably won't get to until after the lab, which is wednesday, since we didn't want to stick the pieces, and then when we want to alter, we need to take it off again. hopefully this lab is successful, coz we practically failed the first two (the 1st one: egg only went 3 meters (highest record was 10m), 2nd one: egg drop--> our egg broke, twice) so i'll be praying hard so that our hard work won't go to waste. (it's 7 hours of work, man) we looked like construction workers when we were doing all those stuff. lol. i'm already looking forward to wednesday ;D
